Assisting Grieving Pet OwnersOur sole purpose at Paws at Rest is to assist and support grieving pet owners as they go through the difficult time which comes with the loss of a beloved pet.
We are Pet Owners OurselvesAs long-time pet owners ourselves, we, Francine and Maria, know first hand what pet owners go through when they lose a beloved pet. As our pets become more and more a part of our families, losing them becomes that much harder.
Years in the Pet-Care IndustryWith a long history in the pet-care industry, which includes currently owning and operating the Country Spaw and Resort boarding kennel in North Gower, Ontario, we have years of the vast experience working with pets and their owners.
Years of Funeral Home ExperienceWe both have several years of practical funeral home experience and are well trained in helping families deal with the grief and bereavement.
Support and Services
Pet owners faced with the death of a beloved pet need not go through the painful experience alone. Paws at Rest offers a wide range of support and services in the event of either a planned or unexpected passing of a pet.
Funerals, Cremations & Burials
Our services include being there for pet owners in their time of need. We will work closely with them to facilitate their wishes regarding every aspect, whether it be for a funeral, cremation, burial or a memorial service.
When it is time for Euthanasia
Paws At Rest can also assist you in making all the necessary arrangements needed to prepare you for the euthanasia. We can be present with you when you're having your pet euthanized, either at your local Veterinary clinic, your own home, or if you prefer, at our location. We are able to make all the arrangements required throughout this difficult process.
Grief Support and Aftercare
We also offer compassionate grief support and aftercare if needed.
